As an Eastern Lift Truck Co. Technician, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of equipment including forklifts, container handlers, loading dock and door equipment, cardboard balers, trash compactors, conveyor systems, yard trucks, mobile railcar movers, electric and utility vehicles, autonomous mobile robots, and more.
Perhaps you have strong mechanical skills but could use some additional training. No problem. We offer on-the-job training, so you fully understand all componentry and systems, and are comfortable working on the forklifts and other equipment that we sell and service. TECHNICIAN OPPORTUNITIES AT EASTERN LIFT TRUCK CO.
Eastern Lift Truck Co. is always looking for experienced technicians to support our growth. With 20+ locations in the Mid-Atlantic area, we offer responsive, knowledgeable service of all makes and models of material handling equipment, commercial overhead door and dock equipment, balers and compactors and much more. Here are the type of technician positions we are hiring for right now.

We are always hiring skilled forklift technicians as well as mechanics with strong automotive, diesel or heavy equipment experience to work on forklifts and other material handling equipment, either in one of our service facilities or on the road at a customer location. Although we are a Hyster-Yale dealership, our technicians work on virtually any make and model of equipment.
Dock & Door Technicians
Our Dock & Door Division is hiring technicians with years of experience in the field, as well as people who have a strong mechanical aptitude, but are just starting their service career. Dock and Door technicians work on sectional and rolling doors, dock seals, shelters, levelers, and vehicle restraints. All our Dock and Door Technicians work on the road at customer locations. The loading dock is one of the most dangerous and overlooked areas of a business. As a Dock & Door Technician, you will help our customers create a safer, cleaner and more energy-efficient loading dock environment.
Baler & Compactor Technicians
If you have 2+ years’ experience servicing, repairing, and installing balers, compactors, and other industrial equipment, we want to talk to you! Candidates should have a working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, and the ability to read schematics. Welding and fabrication skills are also important. Our Retail Services Division is headquartered in Queenstown, MD, and provides service for equipment including balers, compactors, containers, motorized shopping carts, dock, and flooring cleaning equipment. This division works with customers throughout the Mid-Atlantic, as far north as CT, west to OH and south to the VA/NC border.
